controller,
was produced from 1962 to 1966 and was made to operate motor vehicles at variable speeds using a DC Power Pack with an output of 12 to 16 volts such as the Atlas Power Pack #1252.
Any 12 to 16 volt generally used for HO Train operation may be used to operate your cars.
When using HO train type power packs the speed control should be set at full.
The modern design and style of the Dashboard Speed Control gives you the feel of being in the drivers seat.
The steering wheel, when turned to the right, increases speed of the cars.
For perminent installation, pry grill covers off a screw the Dashboard Speed Control to your table with two (2) No. 6 X 1 Inch wood screws.
Do not tighten screws too hard.
Replace grill cover with a dab of cement if you want to have a firm feel in driving with no unsightly screws showing.
The stick shift located in the console at the right of your Dashboard Speed Control actually works.
When shifted forward, your cars will go forward.
When shifted back, your cars will go in reverse.
If your cars work in reverse when the stick shift is forward, just reverse the two (2) wires on your Dashboard Speed Control Terminal Strip that lead to the Roadway Terminals.
To use your slotcars in reverse, the rear guide must be used under the back screw of chassis to guide your car in reverse.
